Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence in Saudi Arabia's construction sector. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and securing profitable projects across public and private sectors in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the Saudi construction market (commercial, infrastructure, residential, industrial, and government projects).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, government authorities, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor upcoming tenders, prequalification opportunities, and project pipelines across KSA.
- Lead the preparation of prequalification documents, expressions of interest (EOIs), and support tender submissions in coordination with technical and commercial teams.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company objectives and annual targets.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums.
- Negotiate commercial terms, support contract discussions, and contribute to deal closure.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum 812 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the construction industry in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi construction market, procurement processes, and government tendering systems.
- Proven track record of securing high-value construction projects in KSA.
- Established network with developers, consultants, government entities, and contractors.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is highly preferred.
