Job Description

Technological Innovations Group (TIG) is currently looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets for Crestron.

Crestron is the leading provider of control and automation systems for offices, schools, hospitals, hotels and more. The success of Crestron is based on a total commitment to delivering the highest quality product.

As a Business Development Manager, you are able to understand the technical side of our business and can translate this into a total Crestron design for our customers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining good contacts with existing customers and finding new end-user prospects.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals => new generated opportunities quota from end-user channel.
  • Responsible for the performance and development of the existing end-user accounts as well as for new prospects, new projects and POCs.
  • Prepare action plans for effective search of end-user sales leads and prospects => end users, consultants & architects.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with these partnersand understanding their needs.
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Convert competitive business into Crestron solutions by offering a product shootout / Crestron POC.
  • Provide weekly feedback to the Regional Director regarding performance.
  • Minimum 10 customer visits per week + visit report and weekly feedback towards your Regional Director.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in sales, a real hunter, with a background in AV sales and Crestron products for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Experience and knowledge of the AV market with good contacts in the top 10 businesses in your region.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to establish relationships.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
  • Able to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Creative, responsible and self-motivated.
  • Commercial and technical mindset; be passionate about our product.
  • Open-minded and a real team player.
