We are looking for a strong Business Development Manager who can open doors and bring business from day one. This is a pure hunting role.
You must come with an active book of business and strong relationships in the UAE market. The ideal candidate comes from a payment gateway or payments background and understands the fintech landscape.
This role is for someone who is a self-starter, highly driven, and comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across the UAE
- Leverage your existing network to win new clients
- Build and manage relationships at multiple levels (C-level, finance, operations, technical teams)
- Identify, approach, and close new merchants and partners
- Drive revenue growth and meet sales targets
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and customer needs
Requirements
- Currently based in the UAE
- Proven experience in business development within fintech or payment gateways
- Strong existing book of contacts in the UAE market
- Demonstrated track record of closing new business
- Hunter mindset proactive, persistent, and results-driven
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running
