Role Overview

As a Business Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, reaching out to, and qualifying prospects to book meetings for our sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients through various channels.

Outreach: Conduct cold calls, emails, and social media outreach (LinkedIn) to engage prospects.

Qualification: Qualify leads from marketing campaigns to ensure they are viable sales opportunities.

Meeting Setting: Schedule discovery calls and demos for Account Executives.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong initial relationships with prospects.

Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and target markets.

CRM Management: Accurately maintain and update lead and activity data in the CRM.

Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to align strategies.

Reporting: Track and report on KPIs like meetings booked, qualified leads, and outreach activity.

Requirements

Proven experience in a sales or business development role (e.g., BDR, SDR, AE).

Strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Experience with CRM software.

Excellent research, organization, and time management.

A motivated, results-driven attitude with resilience.

Understanding of sales processes and methodologies
