Carter Murray is excited to be working with a newly established logistics provider in the UAE. Our client is looking for a Business Development Specialist with 3PL experience to help develop their client base, negotiate deals and achieve gross profit targets.
Job Description:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted industries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Achieve monthly gross profit targets of AED 60,000 by negotiating and closing profitable deals.
- Prepare and present competitive proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 35 years of experience in freight forwarding logistics or related sales/business development roles.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating substantial gross profit.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding, customs, and logistics operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a competitive market.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Please note, this position offers compensation up to a maximum of 17,000 AED plus a quarterly commission scheme based on targets.
