What you will do
- Own a true 360 remit across the Middle East: Drive business development, manage client relationships, and oversee the full consultant lifecycle - from lead generation and brieftaking through to selection, onboarding, deployment and ongoing assignment management.
- Grow and nurture client relationships: Qualify inbound opportunities, attend and run client briefings, structure resourcing briefs, and negotiate commercials - including at General Counsel and Head of Legal level.
- Match great people to great work: Source and align highcalibre consultants to client briefs; prepare profiles/CVs; lead offer management through to day one.
- Champion consultant success: Build relationships with consultants daily (phone and inperson), understand their motivations and transferable skills, coach for interviews, and support a standout experience on and off assignment.
- Deliver smooth onboarding & compliance: Partner with Operations and Contracts to manage inmarket onboarding, rights to work, practising rights and adherence to Peerpoint and A&O Shearman policies.
- Plan and manage deployments: Keep consultants deployment ready, coordinate start dates, run checkins during assignments, and manage offboarding and feedback loops.
- Drive commercial performance: Track pipeline and KPIs to forecast supply/demand, troubleshoot gaps, and create flexible resourcing solutions that deliver outcomes.
- Collaborate to scale impact: Work closely with A&O Shearman's Middle East BD team and partners to crosssell services and share client insights; coordinate with global Peerpoint teams to facilitate crossregional introductions and efficient placements.
What you will have
- Proven success across a consultative sales cycle, delivering excellent client service and building strong peer relationships.
- Endtoend recruitment/resourcing experience (legal sector experience advantageous), with confidence navigating ambiguity and negotiating outcomes.
