JOB DESCRIPTION
The Process Mining Consultant is responsible for converting event data into actionable business insights. This role leads end-to-end process mining initiatives on Level 4 processes, ensuring effective knowledge transfer to client teams. The consultant works closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze As-Is processes, identify inefficiencies, and support data-driven process optimization using ARIS Process Mining.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of Process Mining initiatives, transforming raw event data into meaningful business intelligence using ARIS Process Mining.
- Collaborate with client process owners and stakeholders to identify, extract, and validate required event logs and data sources.
- Perform data preparation activities, including data cleansing, transformation, and structuring of datasets to ensure they are mining-ready.
- Conduct Process Discovery and Conformance Checking, comparing actual As-Is execution against designed To-Be process models to identify deviations and compliance gaps.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using methodologies such as 5 Whys and Fishbone to identify drivers of bottlenecks, rework, loops, and inefficiencies.
- Define, configure, and monitor process KPIs and dimensions (e.g., Quality, Speed, Cost, Compliance, Innovation) to assess process performance.
- Design, build, and customize ARIS Process Mining dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights for business and leadership stakeholders.
- Measure and compare As-Is vs. To-Be KPIs, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.
- Ensure knowledge transfer and enablement of client teams on process mining concepts, tools, and insights.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Process Mining, Business Process Management (BPM), or Process Optimization roles.
- Hands-on experience with ARIS Process Mining (or similar tools is a plus).
- Strong understanding of event data structures, data modeling, and process analytics.
- Experience with process analysis, KPI definition, and performance measurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
