We are looking for a high caliber business process specialist to join us to play a critical role within the finance function.

Job Title: Business Process Specialist

Reporting Line

Reports to: Head of Supply Chain & Customer Service

Location: Dubai, UAE

Role Overview

The role will be part of trading entity which is involved in Buy-Sell operations across the segments within Huhtamaki. Due to nature of the entity, company acts as a Principal Company which coordinates the processes/financials across different entities within the company.

The Business Process Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and standardizing end-to-end business processes within a principal company environment. The role focuses on intercompany transactions and export operations across multiple entities and geographies.

The position requires a structured, analytical professional with hands-on experience in finance with deep understanding of the transactional flows so that you can identify process inefficiencies and drive sustainable improvements. A working knowledge of Oracle (Oracle Fusion ERP preferably) is essential to understand how processes are executed within the system and to ensure alignment between process design/system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the ERP development by closely working with technology partners to ensure that all the impacts of transactions are well understood and subsequently modelled within ERP
  • Analyze and document end-to-end business processes across intercompany shipments, export transactions, and order-to-cash cycles involving multiple entities.
  • Evaluate how processes impact business performance, including financials, service levels, accuracy, and cross-entity coordination.
  • Leverage hands-on experience in finance or customer service operations to assess real-world process challenges.
  • Use working knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP to understand how processes are executed and identify system-related constraints or improvement opportunities.
  • Identify process gaps and control risks and do impact assessment.
  • Develop and recommend process improvements and standardization initiatives aligned with business needs and system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-entity stakeholders to align on and implement improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, operations, or related field.
  • Exposure within multinational with diversified business across geographies would be ideal
  • 6-10 years of experience in Finance operations (e.g., O2C, intercompany, accounting), and Preferably Customer service / order management, ideally in export environments
  • Strong understanding of accounting is a must
  • Exposure to Value Added Tax and other indirect taxation is a big plus
  • Experience working in multi-entity (across geographies) or principal company structures is preferred.
  • Practical experience with Oracle (preferably Fusion ERP) is critical (good functional understanding required).
  • Proven experience in process analysis and improvement initiatives.
