Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Transformation Project Manager to lead organizational restructuring and HR operating model transformation projects.
The role will manage cross-functional initiatives involving HR, business, Finance, Legal and IT. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in organization restructuring, operating model redesign or large-scale transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end organizational restructuring and transformation projects.
- Support initiatives involving company/entity setup, business separation, carve-outs, M&A, post-merger integration, or other corporate restructuring activities.
- Develop project plans, workstreams, milestones, deliverables and governance mechanisms.
- Coordinate stakeholders across HR, business, Finance, Legal, IT and other corporate functions.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, decisions and escalations.
- Drive the design and implementation of HR operating models and organizational structures.
- Clarify roles, responsibilities, decision rights and service boundaries across teams and entities.
- Establish governance forums, reporting routines, risk registers and decision logs.
- Prepare project updates, analysis and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Support change impact assessments, communication and implementation planning.
- Identify process gaps, unclear ownership and inefficient handoffs.
- Facilitate workshops and drive alignment on future-state structures, processes and ways of working.
- Work closely with Finance and other functions to understand the financial and operational impact of transformation decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, Management or a related field.
- 5 - 8 years of experience in transformation, project management, organization design, management consulting, corporate strategy, PMO or related areas.
- Hands-on experience in organizational restructuring, operating model redesign or complex transformation projects.
- Experience in one or more of the following would be a strong advantage: company/legal entity setup, business or entity separation, carve-outs, M&A/post-merger integration, corporate restructuring, or finance-related projects.
- Good commercial and financial understanding; exposure to budgeting, cost structures, financial analysis or financial impact assessment is a plus.
- Strong project planning, governance, risk management and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to structure ambiguous and complex problems and turn them into clear execution plans.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across HR, Finance, Legal, IT and business teams.
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder influencing skills.
- Experience in consulting, Big Four, multinational or multi-entity organizations is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is required, as the role will work closely with and manage Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
