Job Purpose:
Responsible for the end-to-end procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services in support of EPC project execution. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant purchasing aligned with project specifications, company procedures, and client requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 5-10 years of procurement experience in Oil & Gas EPC or similar heavy industry
- Strong knowledge of EPC procurement processes and material categories
- Experience handling materials and/or services/subcontracts procurement
- Experience in large-scale EPC projects (onshore/offshore)
- Knowledge of regional and international supplier markets
- Familiarity with Incoterms, logistics, and import/export regulations
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
- Familiarity with international standards (API, ASTM, ISO, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines
