Euro Mechanical is looking for a Buyer.
This position is for the Emirati national only.
The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and subcontracted services required for EPC projects. This role ensures compliance with technical specifications, project schedules, budgetary constraints, and company procurement policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned project packages, from RFQ to PO issuance.
- Source and pre-qualify vendors, ensuring alignment with approved vendor lists and project requirements.
- Prepare, issue, and evaluate Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
- Conduct bid evaluations (technical & commercial) in coordination with engineering, project management, and quality teams.
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contract conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and project management to align procurement activities with project milestones.
- Maintain procurement status reports and contribute to project progress reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 12 years of experience in procurement.
- Experience in EPC/Oil & Gas/Infrastructure projects is an advantage.
