We are looking for a highly experienced Operations Manager to lead and manage our dispatch operations within the car rental business. This role is ideal for someone who understands the realities of ground operations, fleet movement, and staff coordination and knows how to keep everything running smoothly, even under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely vehicle allocation, delivery, and returns
- Manage and lead dispatch officers, drivers, and ground staff
- Coordinate closely with fleet, maintenance, and customer service teams
- Ensure optimal fleet utilization and availability at all times
- Monitor vehicle movement, availability, and downtime
- Implement and improve dispatch processes, SOPs, and reporting
- Handle staff scheduling, performance monitoring, and on-ground discipline
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational KPIs
Requirements- Proven experience in a Dispatch Manager / Operations Manager role within the car rental industry
- Strong hands-on experience in fleet management and vehicle operations
- Excellent people-management and leadership skills
- Ability to manage high-volume operations in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills
- Comfortable working closely with drivers, technicians, and operations teams
