Position: Card Product Lead Amazon Cobrand Card (UAE)
Role Objectives: The Card Product will support the post-launch customer acquisition and
ramp-up of spends for Amazon's co-brand card in the UAE market.

Key responsibilities
- Card acquisition: Design and execute multichannel acquisition campaigns (digital, offline, 3rdparty partners); set budgets, run experiments, optimize funnels, and report ROI against targets.
- Product management: Define product roadmap, features, pricing, and rewards; coordinate launches with marketing, operations, and tech; translate customer insights into product changes.
- Portfolio management: Track portfolio health (GDV, balances, utilization, delinquencies); run cohort and lifecycle analyses; optimize pricing, fees, and rewards to improve profitability and retention.
- Scaling the business: Identify new growth levers and partnerships (retail, fintech, merchant copromotions); build gotomarket plans to increase card issuance and active spend.
- Risk & compliance: Implement credit risk, fraud detection, and regulatory controls; partner with legal and compliance to ensure adherence to UAE regulations.
- Stakeholder management: Align internal teams (marketing, sales, analytics, operations) and external partners (banks, acquirers, agencies, regulators); provide enablement and reporting to senior leadership.
- Performance management: Set and monitor KPIs, run weekly/monthly performance reviews, and iterate on acquisition and retention tactics.
KPIs and targets
- Card acquisition:Number of new accounts per month; targeted acquisition ramp schedule.
- Cost efficiency:Cost per acquisition (CPA) and cost per funded account.
- Portfolio growth:Gross Dollar Volume (GDV) and active card spend growth.
- Profitability:Net interest margin, interchange revenue, and marketing ROI.
- Customer metrics:Activation rate, retention/churn, NPS / CSAT.
- Risk metrics:Delinquency rate (30/60/90), fraud rate, regulatory compliance incidents.
Required experience and skills
- Market knowledge: Deep understanding of the UAE and GCC payments landscape, consumer credit behavior, and regulatory environment.
- Acquisition expertise: Proven track record scaling credit card or consumer finance programs using digital, offline, and partner channels.
- Analytical ability: Strong data skillscohort analysis, LTV/CAC modeling, A/B testing, and dashboarding.
- Product & commercial sense: Experience defining card features, rewards, pricing, and merchant partnerships.
- Risk & compliance: Handson experience with credit underwriting, fraud controls, and regulatory reporting.
- Leadership & execution: Crossfunctional leadership, project management, and stakeholder influence.
- Mandatory traits: Results orientation, creativity, customer centricity, and strong communication skills.
