Job Description

Driving License is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Construction and Installation:

  • Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, roofs, and doorframes.
  • Install cabinets, windows, doors, and flooring.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials.
  • Build frameworks for buildings, such as partitions and roofing systems.

Blueprint Reading And Planning

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Plan layout and calculate materials required for the project.

Repairs And Maintenance

  • Repair or replace damaged wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Tool And Equipment Handling

  • Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools used in carpentry, including saws, drills, sanders, and hammers.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and effectively.

Collaboration And Communication

  • Work with other construction professionals such as electricians, plumbers, and project managers.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure work is completed according to project timelines and quality standards.

Safety Compliance

  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations on the job site.
  • Ensure that all work complies with local building codes and safety standards.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Proficient in carpentry techniques and woodworking.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment.
  • Strong math skills for measuring, cutting, and calculating materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
  • Attention to detail and precision in work.
