The Carpenter Supervisor, Operations is responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day activities across production, logistics, and warehouse units, ensuring seamless operational execution in alignment with Faham Group's quality, efficiency, and delivery standards. This role acts as a bridge between operations teams and management, driving timely execution, adherence to SOPs, and continuous improvement across workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations Management
- Supervise daily production and logistics tasks, ensuring alignment with the production schedule and delivery targets.
- Monitor task completion, escalate delays, and reallocate resources as required to ensure continuity.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure material readiness for production and dispatch.
Team Supervision & Coordination
- Manage shift assignments, daily attendance, task distribution, and on-floor discipline.
- Provide hands-on guidance to workers and technicians to resolve operational challenges.
- Ensure team adherence to company SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Fulfilment & Workflow Monitoring
- Track fulfilment timelines and ensure production and dispatch activities meet promised customer deadlines.
- Support packing, loading, and on-site dispatch processes to maintain operational flow.
- Conduct end-of-day reviews to log task completion and pending items.
Reporting & Communication
- Maintain operational logs, incident reports, and status updates for management reporting.
- Highlight bottlenecks or recurring issues to the Director of Operations with proposed solutions.
- Support in preparing operational data for daily or weekly dashboards.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Conduct on-floor inspections to ensure output quality and production hygiene.
- Reinforce safety practices across all operational units and ensure compliance with HSE guidelines.
- Participate in internal audits and implement corrective/preventive measures as assigned.
Process Improvement & Problem Solving
- Identify areas for efficiency improvement and suggest actionable enhancements in workflow or resource utilization.
- Collaborate with support functions (QA, Planning, HR) for smoother coordination and resolution of operational concerns.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Required Competencies:
Technical Competencies
- Solid understanding of production cycles, fulfilment operations, and warehouse functions
- Familiarity with ERP systems or operational tracking tools
- Basic knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices
- Ability to read basic production or work order documentation

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in operations, Industrial Management, or related field
- 57 years of relevant experience in factory or operational environments
- Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing or supply chain preferred
- Proficient in English and basic Arabic communication
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or ERP tools (Odoo, SAP, etc.)
