Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Carpet Installer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Carpet Installer will be responsible for the installation, cutting, and fitting of custom-made carpets and rugs according to client specifications. Daily tasks include preparing surfaces, measuring and cutting materials, securing carpets, and ensuring high-quality installations. The role also involves maintaining tools, adhering to safety protocols, and addressing customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in carpet installation, including cutting, fitting, and securing carpets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality finishing
- Experience with tools and materials used in carpet installation, such as adhesives and tufting tools
- Ability to read and interpret measurements, layouts, and client specifications accurately
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physical stamina and ability to handle manual labor tasks
- Previous experience in hand-tufted carpet installation or relevant training is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in carpet installation or similar fields are advantageous
