Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Senior Officer (Main Cashier) will be responsible for the processing, recording, updating, and reconciling of cash related information in compliance with established policies, performing the day-to-day processing of financial transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up-to-date and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Receive cash, cheques, vouchers, or other transfer debits.

2. Handle petty cash disbursements through the designated cash fund.

3. Receive collection staff shifts from the Customer Service Department and ensure smooth handover procedures.

4. Count money in main cash drawers at the beginning of the shift to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.

5. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering all collection activities across the hospital and branches.

6. Coordinate with the Laboratory Department regarding patient-related blood donation files.

7. Review and receive parking fee collections associated with the hospital.

8. Resolve patient financial complaints related to petty cash.

9. Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

7. Completion of mandatory education as per the requirement, at least one month prior to expiration.

Job Requirements Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to work under stress conditions and to successfully handle stressful. Experience: 0 - 2 Years experience in cash disbursement, cash collection and control. Education: Diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or any related field. Language: Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic. Licenses / Certifications: N/A
