Cashier

• Position- Cashier
• Contract- 2 years (Long term)
• Location: Dubai
• Salary- AED 6000

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers and assist with inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
• Provide information on banking products, services, and procedures.
• Direct customers to relevant departments or staff when needed.

Cash Handling & Transactions

• Process deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, cheque cashing, loan payments, and bill payments.
• Handle foreign currency exchange (if applicable).
• Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with bank policies.
• Identify and flag suspicious transactions in line with AML/KYC guidelines.

Account Management Support

• Assist customers with account openings, closures, and updates.
• Handle requests for checkbooks, debit cards, and account statements.
• Support customers with digital banking services and troubleshooting.

Operational Responsibilities

• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain proper records of daily transactions.
• Follow security procedures for safeguarding cash and confidential information.
• Assist with branch opening and closing procedures.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, banking regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information.
• Report any operational risks or issues to the Branch Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Prior experience in customer service, cashiering, or banking is preferred.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet daily transaction targets.
• Knowledge of banking systems, AML/KYC regulations (added advantage).
• Professional appearance and customer-first attitude
