With our footprint continuing to expand we are looking for a dedicated and professional Cataloguer Assistant to join our office.

Cataloguer Assistant

Location:Cairo, Egypt

The Product & Service Catalogue Administrator supports the business by maintaining accurate product and service master data across the group. The role is responsible for creating and maintaining stock codes, updating product descriptions, and ensuring data accuracy in inventory systems. This position works closely with Procurement to support timely supply of spares and equipment, maintains proper records and documentation, and delivers a high standard of internal and external customer service, in line with company policies and operating principles

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and create stock codes, including raising new codes as required
  • Review and update existing codes, ensuring accuracy and elimination of duplicates
  • Capture and maintain product and service descriptions in inventory and online systems
  • Ensure a reliable and high-quality Product & Service master in line with master data standards
  • Collaborate with Procurement to manage lead times and support business requirements
  • Ensure prompt and efficient supply of spares and equipment to the business
  • Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping of relevant documentation
  • Deliver a high standard of internal and external customer service
  • Adhere to Procurement principles, policies, and procedures
  • Perform duties in alignment with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Operating Principles
  • Undertake any other related duties as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Basic purchasing and supply experience
  • Proven ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner
  • High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
  • Ability to meet deadlines and identify and deal with problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability and willingness to travel, and work site hours/days when required
