Responsibilities
Category Strategy & Growth
Own category P&L, including revenue, margins, and growth KPIs
Define and execute category strategies across F&B, Health & Beauty, and Electronics
Identify growth levers including assortment expansion, pricing optimization, and promotions
Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer behavior to inform decisions
Supplier & Vendor Management
Source, onboard, and manage suppliers and distributors across assigned categories
Negotiate pricing, margins, rebates, and promotional support
Build strong supplier relationships to secure exclusives and better commercial terms
Assortment & Pricing Optimization
Curate and optimize product assortment based on demand, trends, and margins
Develop competitive and dynamic pricing strategies
Ensure pricing accuracy and competitiveness in the market
Promotions & Campaigns
Plan and execute category-specific campaigns in collaboration with marketing
Design offers, bundles, and discounts to drive conversion and basket size
Analyze campaign performance and optimize ROI
Operations & Execution
Ensure product availability, accurate listings, and smooth category operations
Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to minimize stockouts and overstock
Improve processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
Data Analysis & Performance Management
Track and analyze KPIs: GMV, revenue, margins, conversion rates, inventory turnover
Build reports and dashboards to monitor category performance
Generate insights and take action to continuously optimize performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance teams
Align on campaigns, launches, and growth initiatives
Act as the main point of contact for category-related decisions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
36 years of experience in category management, e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or consulting
Strong analytical skills (advanced Excel required; SQL is a plus)
Proven experience managing P&L and driving revenue growth
Experience in one or more of the following categories: F&B, Health & Beauty, Electronics
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
