A Category Specialist is a crucial role in the commercial department, dealing with all communications with vendors, distributors and beauty manufacturers, and ensuring the availability of products to meet customer demand.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with brands of specialised cosmetic groups
- Building effective relationships with suppliers
- Negotiating commercial terms and conditions with suppliers and concluding contracts
- Category assortment management
- Achieving sales revenue and margin targets
- Monitoring the market, trends, novelties in the relevant product category
Requirements:
- Work experience in retail companies
- Fluent English and Russian (Arabic will be an asset)
- Managing product assortment and purchasing
- Negotiating at a senior level
- Results orientation
- Positive and enthusiastic with the high level of responsibility and independence
