Role Overview
As a Catering & Event Junior Coordinator, you will play a vital role assisting our events team in delivering outstanding experiences for clients. As part of our team in Dubai, you'll support the coordination, execution, and delivery of high-quality catering events. Your keen attention to detail and enthusiasm for client service will help ensure smooth operational flow and an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the catering and events team in planning, organizing, and delivering events from start to finish
- Assist with logistics, vendor coordination, setup, and breakdown of events
- Ensure a seamless client experience by addressing client needs and concerns during events
- Maintain inventory and manage event materials and equipment
- Drive to event venues and assist with transport of equipment or supplies as needed
- Provide administrative support and help prepare event documentation and reports
Must have requirements
- Previous experience in events or catering operations
- Valid driving license
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and client service orientation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Nice to have requirements
- Formal education or certification in event management or hospitality
- Knowledge of local Dubai event industry regulations and vendors
- Experience with catering logistics and food safety standards
- Proficiency in Odoo or event management software
