Job Description

Job Overview:

The Change Management lead will be responsible for driving change management best practices for a large SAP ERP project. This role will focus on preparing, supporting, and enabling the organization to plan and to transition to new processes, technologies, and ways of working introduced through the SAP ERP implementation. The Change lead will work closely with stakeholders, project teams, and leadership to ensure smooth organizational change while minimizing resistance and disruption.

Key Responsibilities:

Change Management Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement a structured change management strategy and framework tailored to SAP ERP implementation.
  • Conduct change impact assessments to identify potential risks and resistance areas.
  • Define and track key change management success metrics to ensure alignment with project goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Identify and engage key stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their input and buy-in throughout the implementation process.
  • Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and address concerns.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on change management best practices and strategies.

Communication & Training:

  • Create and execute a communication plan to keep employees informed about the project's progress, benefits, and impact.
  • Oversee training programs to upskill employees on SAP ERP functionalities and new business processes.
  • Assure the development of user-friendly guides, manuals, and FAQs to support end-users post-implementation.

Resistance Management:

  • Identify potential resistance to change and design mitigation strategies.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and team leads to help them address employee concerns.
  • Monitor feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement in change management activities.

Integration with Project Management:

  • Collaborate closely with the SAP implementation project team to align change management activities with project timelines and milestones.
  • Ensure that change management initiatives are integrated with other project deliverables, such as system configurations and business process redesigns.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in change management, with at least 3 years focused on ERP implementations (preferably SAP).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing change in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP tools and platforms is an advantage.
