Job brief
We are looking for an experienced channel manager who is passionate about achieving targets selling through channels to grow our business in new markets.
The Channel manager is responsible for find, recruit, enable, market, sell & manage channel sales in the assigned territory. He/she will coordinate with current channel partners and Classera teams internally to ensure full channel partners support & success as well as follow up intensively with channel partner to ensure brand awareness, achieve sales targets & customer satisfaction. He/she will act as the channel advocate and advisor for business growth in the channel new market. He/She will also ensure that the channel sales supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Help in building and maintaining a healthy pipeline and revenue stream for Classera products in the assigned territory.
- Identify, recruit, on-board new channel partners in the assigned territory.
- Enable new & current channel partners and maintain their competences through certifications & training.
- Manage & follow up sales activities with channel partners to generate revenue.
- Ensure promotions & incentives are executed with channel partners & customers are satisfied.
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
- Coordinate with channel partners to develop business plans to achieve sales targets.
- Evaluate channel partners performance and develop incentive plans for improvement.
- Be the channel advocates internally & collaborate with teams to ensure enablement & support.
- Be the channel trusted advisor on how to grow business with new offers, new market & new promotions & funds.
- Make sure that all company resources technical, products, marketing & sales supports are identified and made available for channel partners.
- Address channel issues, sales conflicts & pricing issues in timely manner.
Accountabilities & KPIs
- Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic channel partner accounts.
- Achieves the agreed numbers of channel partner recruitments, enablement & sell with per territory.
- Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
- Completes partner account plans that meet company standards.
- Maintains high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
- Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
Required Candidate Profile
- 7+ years of experience in channel management in ICT and SAAS.(preferably in EdTech business)
- Proven selling through experience & success stories with channel partners.
- Solid sales background & business development capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Result oriented and self-motivated person.
- Great team player, Ability to learn & work under pressure.
- MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred - MBA is preferred.
