The Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine (Italian Speaker) to lead our Italian kitchen within a large, highvolume hotel operation. This is a senior management position responsible for culinary leadership, people management, operational excellence, and delivering authentic Italian dining experiences in line with Hyatt standards.

Qualifications

Who You Are

Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional qualification

Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in authentic Italian cuisine

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role (Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, or Senior Sous Chef)

Proven experience working in large hotels, luxury resorts, or highvolume international operations

Fluent Italian speaker: strong English language skills required

Strong knowledge of regional Italian cuisine, traditional techniques, and menu development

Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate large multicultural kitchen teams

Proven experience in staff recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management

Strong background in menu costing, budgeting, inventory control, and food cost management

Indepth knowledge of HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards

Ability to manage multiple outlets or service periods while maintaining consistency and quality

Strong organizational, planning, and timemanagement skills

Creative, detailoriented, and passionate about delivering authentic Italian dining experiences

Ability to perform effectively in a fastpaced luxury hospitality environment
