Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Accountant based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Chief Accountant will oversee daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include monitoring budgeting and forecasting processes, managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting financial analysis, and coordinating audits. The role involves collaborating with management to support financial decision-making and implementing financial controls to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and auditing processes
• Knowledge of accounts payable, receivable management, and tax compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT laws
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus)
• Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage
