We are currently seeking a hands-on Chief Accountant to manage end‑to‑end accounting. This role will lead full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, VAT compliance, intercompany accounting, and audit coordination, ensuring accurate records, strong controls, and consistent regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate brings a detail‑oriented mindset, solid technical accounting expertise, and the ability to deliver timely, reliable financial insights to support senior management and business decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting across two entities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain and review the General Ledger to ensure accurate, complete, and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Oversee fixed asset management by maintaining the asset register and calculating monthly depreciation.
- Handle intercompany transactions, including recharges and reconciliations between entities and sister companies.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports, for senior management review.
- Manage VAT compliance, including preparation and timely filing of VAT returns in line with local tax regulations.
- Ensure audit readiness by maintaining accurate documentation and serving as the primary point of contact during year-end audits.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record of managing a full set of books independently
- Bachelor's degree in accounting. A professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax laws.
- Ability to manage time effectively across two entities without losing focus on detail.
