About the Role
As a Chief Accountant, you will oversee end-to-end accounting functions, ensure compliance with local regulations, and drive financial efficiency across multiple entities. You'll play a key role in supporting strategic decisions and strengthening financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, budgeting, and forecasting across Egypt & KSA
- Manage day-to-day finance activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Lead monthly closing and financial reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations in Egypt & KSA
- Handle cash flow management, forecasting, and budgeting
- Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
- Optimize financial systems and processes, with a strong focus on Odoo ERP
- Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chief Accountant, Finance Manager, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local taxation laws (Egypt & KSA)
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is a MUST
- Solid expertise in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience managing and leading finance teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
- Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus
