Chief Engineer (Fare Systems)- Rail Operations

We are seeking an AFC Systems Specialist with strong experience in rail operations and projects related to fare systems. The role focuses on leading the development, integration, and enhancement of Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) systems across Dubai's public transport network.

You will manage AFC projects end-to-end, oversee contractors, review technical requirements, lead tender processes, and ensure full compliance with RTA standards. The role includes coordinating system integrations for Metro, Tram, and multi-modal fare media, monitoring operational performance, supporting software issue resolution, and ensuring revenue protection and data accuracy. You will participate in system testing, operational readiness assessments, documentation control, and stakeholder coordination while driving continuous improvements in fare technology and rail operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree
• Minimum 8 years of experience
