We are looking for an Chief Executive Officer/ Chief Operating Officer for a medical distribution business, drives operational efficiency, supply chain optimization, and regulatory compliance to support sales growth and market expansion. They typically manage logistics, inventory, and cross-functional teams, requiring 10+ years of experience in senior operational roles within healthcare
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct day-to-day operations, including procurement, warehousing, and logistics, ensuring seamless integration across departments.
- Supply Chain & Logistics: Optimize inventory management, ensuring product availability while managing costs and cold chain requirements, if applicable.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations meet medical industry standards, such as ISO, FDA, or local health authority regulations (e.g., DHA in UAE).
- Strategic Growth: Scale operations to support commercial expansion, driving performance through KPIs related to cost, quality, and service.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and healthcare provider customers
Qualifications :
- Experience: 10+ years in senior operations roles, ideally as a COO, VP of Operations, or General Manager in the medical device or pharmaceutical distribution sectors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or Medical Engineering; MBA is preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical abilities for inventory forecasting, proficiency in ERP systems, and hands-on leadership.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of medical product approval processes and distribution logistics.
