Job Description

Location: Dubai, UAE (with absolute fluency in French)

Reports to: CEO

ALPHA10X is an award-winning, AI-native Decision Intelligence platform built for private-market underwriting. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Dubai with applied research in France, the company has raised $20M in seed from prominent investors, technology-sector operators, and leading scientists—forming an exceptional cap table. With $2.3M in ARR, it is moving towards raising a Series A to scale R&D and go-to-market, with the primary build-out centered in the Middle East. The business requires institutional-grade financial leadership to support operating discipline, capital formation, and long-term value creation.

The Role

The CFO will build and lead the finance function of ALPHA10X at a critical stage of growth. This is a hands-on and strategic role for a high-calibre finance leader who combines strong accounting and controlling fundamentals with private markets capital raise credibility, planning discipline, and commercial judgment. The CFO will own the financial architecture of the business: reporting, controls, forecasting, liquidity, investor readiness, capital raise support, and financial decision-making. The role requires someone capable of operating in a fast-moving, multinational environment with high standards of precision, pace, and communication.

Core Mandate

  • Establish robust accounting, controlling, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and modelling.
  • Manage cash, runway, and capital efficiency.
  • Support the CEO on fundraising, investor materials, due diligence, and financing strategy.
  • Produce clear, decision-grade financial analysis for leadership and the Board.
  • Ensure the company is financially and operationally prepared to scale internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting, Reporting, and Controlling

  • Build and oversee a rigorous finance / accounting function across a multinational structure.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
  • Own financial reporting, reconciliations, controls, and management accounts.
  • Coordinate external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, banks, and legal counsel.
  • Ensure compliance across jurisdictions and maintain audit readiness.

FP&A, Business Planning, and Modelling

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain operating and financial models with scenario analysis.
  • Build KPI frameworks and performance dashboards across the business.
  • Translate strategy into operating plans and capital requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis to support decision-making.

Capital Raise and Investor Readiness

  • Support the CEO in executing equity and debt financing processes.
  • Prepare investor reporting, board materials, and diligence documentation.
  • Own the financial data room and ensure alignment of numbers and assumptions.
  • Support capital structure analysis and financing strategy.

Cash Flow and Financial Discipline

  • Maintain oversight of liquidity, runway, and working capital.
  • Improve financial visibility and operating discipline across the company.
  • Ensure robust forecasting accuracy and spend discipline.

Candidate Profile

  • 5—10 years of senior finance experience.
  • Strong background in accounting, financial control, and reporting.
  • Strong experience in FP&A, business planning, forecasting, and modelling.
  • Experience operating in a multi-entity, multinational environment.
  • Experience supporting or leading capital raises and investor reporting.
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CA preferred.
