Job Description

MEVAC is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, planning, analysis, reporting, audits, compliance, and managing banking relationships. This role requires close collaboration with the CEO, international financial teams, and the executive leadership team to shape the company's financial direction. We are looking for a dynamic leader with a strong background in finance and management who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to the CEO & Board Members.
  • Manage and supervise all financial team functions.
  • Oversee financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
  • Lead budgeting, planning, and financial analysis efforts.
  • Ensure effective cash flow, working capital management, and company audits.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports within deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Develop mechanisms to minimize financial risk and optimize performance.
  • Research and report on factors influencing business performance.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and legislation.
  • Formulate strategic and long-term business plans aligned with the CEO and executive team objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Strong finance-based analytical skills.
  • 912 years of experience in a similar position or as a Financial Director or CFO .
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical market is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Strong commercial and business awareness.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
