Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – IPO-Track Leadership Role
About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic business leader — not a traditional finance executive — to serve as CFO and guide the company through IPO preparation and beyond. The ideal candidate combines strong integrity, sound judgment, and high professional ethics with the ability to earn the confidence of the Board, shareholders, investors, and financial institutions. Excellent bilingual (Arabic/English) communication skills, proven leadership of large, multi-country finance teams, strong analytical/data-driven decision-making, and demonstrated ability to lead organizational transformation are essential — along with the executive presence to perform effectively under pressure during the IPO process.
Professional & Industry Experience:
- 25+ years of progressive finance experience, including 10–15 years as CFO or Deputy/Group CFO in a large organization.
- Industry background preferably in manufacturing, building materials, chemicals, or multi-plant/regional-multinational environments.
- Experience in publicly listed companies.
IPO Experience:
Hands-on experience leading or participating in an IPO, including preparing a company for public listing, working with investment banks and financial advisors, due diligence, prospectus preparation, corporate governance, capital markets, investor relations, and regulatory disclosure requirements. Experience with the Saudi market (Tadawul) is a plus.
Technical Competencies:
- SAP ERP: Strong business-level knowledge of SAP FI, CO, Treasury, Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud, and BW — with the ability to lead finance systems optimization and digital transformation (deep technical expertise not required).
- Financial Reporting: IFRS, group consolidation, multi-company and multi-currency reporting.
- Treasury & Corporate Finance: Cash management, banking relationships, debt financing, capital structure optimization, liquidity management.
- FP&A: Budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial planning, scenario modeling, performance analysis.
- Internal Controls, Risk & Compliance: Internal control frameworks, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), corporate compliance, governance.
- Taxation: Corporate income tax, VAT, Saudi Zakat and Tax regulations, cross-border taxation where applicable.
- Manufacturing Finance: Cost accounting, manufacturing KPIs, plant performance analysis, inventory optimization, working capital management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Reporting, budget preparation and control, cash flow management, working capital optimization, financial governance.
- Strategic Planning: Long-term financial strategy, capital allocation, investment appraisal, business expansion evaluation, financial modeling/feasibility studies.
- IPO Leadership: Lead IPO readiness — corporate restructuring, governance enhancement, financial reporting readiness, coordination with external advisors, regulatory compliance, investor communications.
- Risk Management: Enterprise risk management, insurance strategy, business continuity, compliance oversight.
- Investor Relations (post-IPO): Investor communications, financial results presentations, analyst meetings, market disclosures.
- Treasury: Banking relationships, debt management, FX exposure, interest rate risk management, capital raising.
- Digital Finance Transformation: SAP optimization, business intelligence, executive dashboards, AI-enabled financial analytics.
- Finance Organization Development: Building a high-performing team, succession planning, talent development, performance management.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; MBA or Master's in Finance preferred.
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA (CFA a significant advantage given the IPO and capital markets focus).
