Job Description

Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a central role in shaping the organization's strategic direction, strengthening its financial foundation, and driving disciplined growth across all business verticals and service lines. The role requires a senior financial leader with deep experience in technologycentric organizations operating across the US and UAE/GCC markets, with proven capability in international finance, complex commercial structures, and highvalue digital and intellectual property assets. The CFO will oversee global finance, capital strategy, corporate structuring, procurement, compliance, and performance management, while serving as a key advisor to the CEO and Board.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Define and execute the long-term financial strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board for strategic decision-making.
  • Establish strong financial governance across all global entities.

Capital Strategy, Fundraising & External Relations

  • Lead equity/debt fundraising initiatives and optimize capital structure.
  • Manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
  • Oversee financial modeling, due diligence, and investor communications.
  • Ensure transparency and credibility with external stakeholders.

Acquisition & Divestiture of Intangible Assets

  • Lead evaluation, negotiation, acquisition, and disposal of high-value intangible assets including software, IP, licenses, and technology platforms.
  • Define valuation, capitalization, amortization, and impairment frameworks.
  • Sponsor and oversee financial aspects of technology asset transactions.

Financial Planning, Analytics & Performance Management

  • Direct budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and long-term financial modeling.
  • Provide performance visibility across SaaS, products, consulting, and managed services.
  • Implement advanced FP&A tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.

Global Accounting, Tax, Compliance & Audit

  • Oversee global accounting, statutory reporting, transfer pricing, and tax strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local regulations.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness.
  • Standardize financial processes across international operations.

Treasury, Liquidity & Working Capital Management

  • Manage global cash flow, treasury operations, and currency risk.
  • Develop working capital strategies for long-cycle and project-based revenue models.
  • Implement treasury policies to ensure financial stability and scalability.

Commercial Governance & Deal Structuring

  • Provide financial oversight for enterprise contracts and multi-year transformation programs.
  • Guide pricing strategies, commercial models, and project financials.
  • Partner with product and sales teams on scalable revenue models.

Corporate Structuring, M&A & Strategic Investments

  • Design and optimize corporate entity structures across regions.
  • Evaluate acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments.
  • Lead financial due diligence, integration, and synergy tracking.
  • Support diversification and growth initiatives.

Procurement & Supply Chain Leadership

  • Oversee global procurement strategy and vendor governance.
  • Establish sourcing policies, approval frameworks, and cost controls.
  • Manage procurement of technology, infrastructure, licenses, and services.
  • Lead supplier performance management and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure alignment of procurement with working capital and financial objectives.
  • Strengthen supply chain processes supporting multinational operations.

Digital Finance, Systems & Automation

  • Drive ERP optimization, automation, and digitization of finance processes.
  • Implement scalable financial systems and analytics platforms.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Required Skills:

  • Strong strategic and commercial financial leadership.
  • Expertise in global finance operations and multi-entity structures.
  • Advanced knowledge of intangible asset valuation and financial treatment.
  • Strong experience in fundraising, investor relations, and capital strategy.
  • Deep understanding of project-based accounting and SaaS / services revenue models.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability.
  • Knowledge of IFRS / GAAP, taxation, transfer pricing, and compliance.
  • Experience with ERP and financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, etc.).

Required Experience:

  • Mandatory minimum 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
  • Mandatory experience working in both US and UAE/GCC markets, with strong understanding of regulatory, tax, commercial, and financial operating environments in these regions.
  • Proven experience in technology, software, IT services, or digital transformation organizations.
  • Experience managing multicountry finance operations and complex multientity structures.
  • Demonstrated track record in capital raising, investor relations, M&A, and complex transactions.
  • Experience in highgrowth, PE/VC-backed, or multi-entity environments preferred.
  • Industry exposure to Energy, Transportation, or Information Technology is an advantage.

Education / Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required).
  • Master's degree / MBA preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA / ACCA / CFA / ACA strongly preferred.
