Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial function across our UAE and US entities. This role will play a critical part in scaling the organization, supporting international expansion, and ensuring strong financial governance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Leadership

- Lead overall financial strategy aligned with company growth and expansion plans

- Act as a key advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team

- Support fundraising activities, investor relations, and financial storytelling

- Drive financial planning for international expansion (UAE to US and beyond)

Financial Management & Operations

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

- Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and cost optimization

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across all entities

- Establish scalable financial systems, controls, and processes

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure compliance with UAE and US financial regulations and reporting standards

- Oversee audits and work closely with external auditors

- Manage corporate structuring, tax planning, and regulatory requirements

Multi-Entity & International Oversight

- Supervise financial operations across multiple legal entities (UAE & US)

- Align accounting practices across jurisdictions

- Support US payroll and tax considerations

Team & Systems

- Build and lead a high-performing finance team

- Oversee implementation of financial systems

- Establish strong internal controls and approval workflows

Requirements

- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA/ACCA preferred)

- 10–15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience

- Experience in biotech, healthcare, or high-growth environments preferred

- Strong knowledge of UAE and US financial regulations

- Experience managing cross-border financial operations

- Proven experience in fundraising or scaling companies

- Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred

- Experience supporting US expansion

- Exposure to venture-backed environments

- Familiarity with audit standards (e.g., PCAOB)
