The Head of Investment is responsible for the strategic leadership, performance, and growth of the firm's investment platform in the GCC.
Looking for a senior Investment leader with a deep network within SOI's.
This includes oversight of asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk management, team leadership, and client engagement across public and private markets.
Key Points:
Investment Leadership
- Define and implement the firm's multi-asset investment philosophy and framework.
- Lead strategic and tactical asset allocation across equities, fixed income, alternatives, private markets, and real assets.
- Chair or play a leading role in Investment Committee meetings.
- Oversee portfolio construction methodologies, including risk budgeting and factor exposures.
- Ensure alignment with client objectives, liquidity constraints, and regulatory requirements.
Portfolio Management & Performance
- Own performance accountability across multi-asset mandates.
- Monitor attribution, drawdown, volatility, and benchmark-relative returns.
- Drive continuous improvement in portfolio analytics and modelling.
- Manage external managers where applicable (fund-of-funds / outsourced mandates).
Client & Commercial Engagement
- Act as senior spokesperson for the platform.
- Participate in client pitches, consultant meetings, and board presentations.
- Translate complex macro and portfolio positioning into clear narratives.
- Support AUM growth initiatives and product development.
Strategy & Product Development
- Identify new multi-asset strategies (e.g., income, target return, ESG-integrated, retirement solutions).
- Lead innovation in asset allocation models (e.g., dynamic, systematic, outcome-driven).
- Evaluate technology, data platforms, and quantitative tools.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 1220+ years experience in asset management.
- Significant experience developing and managing Tech portfolio
- Proven track record of delivering consistent risk-adjusted returns.
- Experience leading investment teams.
- Strong macroeconomic and cross-asset knowledge.
- CFA, CAIA, or equivalent highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of institutional clients (pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth, UHNW).
