Our client is a major regional Conglomerate with presence in Infrastructure, real estate, hospitality, retail and travel sectors and they have built some of the well-known landmark projects They have embarked on ambitious growth plans and are coming up with world class integrated infrastructure and real estate projects in India. To execute these marquee projects, they are looking at a senior professional with experience in handling large multi billion dollar projects in the region.
KRAs
Incumbent will be responsible for :
- Providing end-to-end leadership, management and delivery of all aspects of the projects.
- Coordinate with the management in developing overall budget for assigned projects.
- Preparing project execution strategy, budget monitoring, cash flow & preparation & monitoring of annual operations plan.
- Day to day supervision of project to ensure completion of project in Conformance with the technical specifications, quality requirement and safety Requirement as per approved schedules and cost estimate/budget.
- Co-ordination with clients, architects, contractors & consultants and ensuring on time deliverable.
- Implementing stringent quality control systems.
- Inter department co-ordination in order for smooth completion of work.
- Managing project documentation, ensuring that projects are compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

The incumbent has to work closely with the investors and stake holders. He should have outstanding articulation and communication skills.
- Strategic Alignment & Governance
- Responsible for aligning the strategic, financial, and operational goals of complex, mixed-use real estate project with the organization's overall business objectives.
- Lead the planning, design and execution of the project, including project scope, budgeting, and scheduling till the operational handover.
- Establish governance structures (standardized reporting, KPIs) to manage multiple, complex projects in parallel.
- Manages the entire portfolio of projects (e.g., combining hotels, retail, IT Parks )
- Risk Mitigation & Compliance
- Lead risk management strategies, identifying potential bottlenecks early.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in infrastructure development and project management.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct regular audits to ensure project standards are met.
- Budget & Resource Management
- Oversees capital expenditure, project budgets, and cost control.
- Optimizes resource allocation (labour, materials, consultants) across projects to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively and expenditures are tracked and controlled.
- Oversee procurement processes and contract negotiations to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money.
- Monitor and report on project financial performance, addressing any deviations from the budget.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Acts as the primary liaison between the executive board, investors, and external partners (architects, contractors, government agencies).
- Engage with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and commercial teams, to ensure project alignment with operational needs and business objectives.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community groups, to secure necessary approvals and maintain positive relationships.
- Communicate project progress and updates to senior executives and other key stakeholders.
- Driving Innovation & Process Improvement:
- Fosters a culture of innovation, implementing modern project methodologies (e.g., BIM, Lean construction) and streamlining workflows.
- Operational Integration:
- Ensure that the new infrastructure seamlessly integrates with existing operations and infrastructure systems.
- Develop and implement transition plans to minimize disruptions to airport operations during construction and commissioning.
- Coordinate with operational teams to ensure effective implementation and utilization of new facilities and systems.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 25-30 years in senior project management roles, with extensive experience in large-scale real estate development (mixed-use preferred).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management; postgraduate degree in Project Management is highly preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in project scheduling and budgeting software (Primavera, MS Project etc).
- Leadership & Soft Skills: Strong executive-level communication, negotiation, decision-making, and crisis management abilities.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction regulations, permitting processes, and environmental safety (HSE) protocols.
