Chief of Staff to Founder

Location: UAE (remote working is an option) UK Working Hours

Salary: AED 35,000 AED 40,000 /monthly plus benefits

A fast-scaling UK digital education business is hiring a Chief of Staff to work directly with the Founder.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth, founder-led organisation with a lean global team and significant scope for operational ownership. The role is designed for a high-agency startup operator who wants to transition from being the #2 to eventually running the company.

For the right individual, this position has a clear pathway to COO and potentially CEO within 24 months.

The Opportunity

You will work directly alongside the Founder to:

  • Turn a proven revenue model into a predictable growth engine
  • Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks
  • Improve marketing, sales, and delivery systems
  • Strengthen customer outcomes and retention
  • Install KPI dashboards, clear ownership structures, and execution cadence
  • Reduce founder dependency by building scalable operating systems
  • Lead high-impact cross-functional initiatives end-to-end

This is not a coordination-heavy Chief of Staff role.

This is an execution-driven leadership position for someone who thrives in ambiguity and builds structure from complexity.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Systems

  • Design and implement scalable marketing, sales, and operational systems
  • Improve conversion, retention, and overall operational efficiency
  • Build performance dashboards and reporting structures
  • Formalise SOPs across core functions
  • Drive initiatives from strategy through to measurable outcomes

Team & Performance Management

  • Manage and align a lean, global team across marketing, sales, and operations
  • Implement weekly KPI reviews and structured execution cadence
  • Hold team members accountable to clear performance targets
  • Oversee agencies and external suppliers (performance, scope, negotiation)
  • Translate founder vision into clear priorities and execution plans

Founder Partnership

  • Act as the Founder's strategic right hand
  • Shield the Founder from operational noise
  • Increase decision velocity across the business
  • Operate independently and escalate only critical strategic decisions
  • Ideal Candidate Profile

    Experience

    • 37 years within a fast-growing successful startup environment
    • Direct experience working alongside a founder
    • Background in a successful, scaling business (hypergrowth preferred)
    • Experience in tech-enabled or digital businesses advantageous
