Job Description

As part of our growth story, we are currently hiring for the Chief Operating Officer (COO) role within Tharwah. The COO will be a key member of Tharwah's executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the company's operations across all business linesManagement Consulting, Training Academy, and Technology Solutions. The COO will drive operational excellence, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.

This individual will be a proven leader with a track record of managing and optimizing complex operations while aligning teams to achieve corporate goals. The COO will serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and Board of Directors in steering the company towards sustainable growth and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all business lines, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and delivery excellence.
  • Develop and implement robust operational strategies, processes, and policies to optimize business performance.
  • Drive the alignment of operational goals with the company's strategic objectives and corporate values.

Performance Management

  • Build a high-performance culture by setting clear KPIs, establishing accountability, and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report operational performance to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Identify and address operational bottlenecks to improve organizational effectiveness.

Team Building and Leadership

  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across departments.
  • Develop leadership capabilities within the company by mentoring department heads and future leaders.
  • Act as a unifying force across teams, fostering communication and ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Strategic Execution

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans.
  • Ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives, with a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to maximize the impact of company-wide projects and programs.

Operational Excellence and Risk Management

  • Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
  • Establish and monitor compliance frameworks to mitigate risks and uphold corporate governance standards.
  • Leverage technology and innovation to improve operational processes and customer delivery.

Customer-Centric Focus

  • Champion a customer-first approach across all business lines to ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the business development teams to support client retention and growth initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA) is preferred.

Experience:

  • 15+ years of progressive operational leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior executive role.
  • Proven track record of managing operations within a consulting, technology, or training-focused organization is highly desirable.
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution skills, with the ability to balance long-term vision and short-term priorities.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering a high-performance, results-driven organizational culture.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and unify teams.
  • Robust financial and operational acumen, with experience in managing P&L and optimizing resource allocation.

Preferred Competencies

  • Experience in driving digital transformation and leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory authorities.
