JOB PURPOSE:
Carry out supervision evaluation of Railway construction Works, prepare reports and work plans and provide technical recommendations.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in meetings and provide the required support & explain the role of each party, the procedures to follow, the general regulations, required reports, and the communication plan.
- Oversee projects violations conducted by the contractors and report them to the management.
- Monitor and control and report monthly progress and perform variance analysis against schedule baseline, in
- case of delay, do investigation of the causes and recommend corrective actions if required
- To Coordinate with Stakeholders internal and external to ensure all their requirements related to Handover are fulfilled
- Ensure full compliance with the quality/specification of the materials/products and work done and managing inspection/testing activities regularly during the implementation stages of the project.
- Identify communication requirements, correspondence policy, periodic meetings, reports, and information distribution policy and communication plan.
- Ensure the compliance of project handover in accordance with RTA project management policies and process
- Evaluate the operation of major projects and follow up with adjustment instructions.
- Identify project risks, perform qualitative risk analysis and plan risk responses and gather all this in the project risk register in the Active Risk Manager (Enterprise Risk Management Software).
- Coordinate with all RTA departments for opening of the completed projects, Perform other related duties and responsibilities associated with the position.
- Conduct field visits to monitor quality and safety of work performed in the sites.
- Ensure the list of snags and outstanding works is complete and properly followed up during the Defect
- Notification Period (DNP).
- Guide and instruct Technicians and Engineers to resolve and manage obstacles.
- Arrange for the complete handing over process for completed projects as per RTA process.
- Review designs and drawing of major elements of the projects and discuss with contractors on necessary adjustments.
- Strictly follow the Information Security data sharing guidelines for all internal and external data transfers.
- Immediately report any Information Security incidents to your line manager and IT support for prompt guidance and resolution.
- Actively participate in all assigned Information Security training and awareness sessions to enhance your knowledge and address potential Information Security risks.
- Always comply with instructions and guidance provided by your line manager in line with the Information Security requirements.
- Adhere to RTA information Security Policies and Procedures, related to data protection and as per approved regulations.
- Oversee closely all jobs/tasks assigned to the Employee relevant to construction works.
Education:
BSc. Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute as per UAE's Ministry of Education.
MSc or postgraduate studies from a recognized University/Institute as per UAE's Ministry of Education is a preference.
Experience: 15 years of experience.
