Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Coordinate the follow-up of RTA financial performance and centralized department progress and achievements to ensure accurate tracking and timely reporting.
  • Ensure application of the governance framework and enhance the efficiency of statistical database and performance indicators (KPI) program; review status, share knowledge on standards, and recommend improvements and actions to strengthen decision-making and enable timely, informed decisions.
  • Review classifications of high-sensitivity strategic files and initiatives; advise on handling protocols and recommend updates.
  • Prioritize strategic files and initiatives; prepare and provide input on decision options for the DG/Chairman.
  • Oversee the management of the RTA portfolio of strategic and critical projects to ensure alignment with leadership priorities; offer guidance on direction as required.
  • Monitor implementation for strategic and critical projects; review progress against approved plans and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate key project meetings and strategic files with relevant authorities; provide input on materials and advise on readiness.

Operations

  • Review periodic performance reports; review analyses and recommend actions for executive consideration.
  • Review and deliver summaries and recommendations prepared for leadership issuance; advise on clarity, compliance, and next steps.
  • Coordinate meetings for strategic and important projects and assist with preparations for related visits.
  • Review technical reports from sectors; offer expertise on content and recommend where further analysis is needed.
  • Review technical reports as directed by the DG/Chairman; provide critical input to ensure decision-readiness.
  • Coordinate organization of the annual Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) sessions with concerned departments; advise on program and materials.

Process/Product Improvement

  • Recommend improvements in the accuracy of key measures, regular reporting, and analysis standards for effective strategic monitoring.
  • Organize standard meeting and decision documents for key projects; check progress and suggest actions to close them.
  • Facilitate cross-entity coordination mechanisms and escalation pathways; advise on actions to expedite risk and issue resolution.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree/ master's degree in business/public administration, Engineering, or Economics

Experience

  • 9+ Years in case of master's degree (11+ years in case of Bachelor's degree)
