Job Description

Job Purpose

Drive expert-level project governance and technical assurance across enterprise initiatives. Review

and advise on cross-sector project reports, audits, and portfolio policies. Standardize project management practices and tools, develop capabilities, and deliver decision-ready materials for

leadership and committees.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Monitor strategic plan execution and performance indicators, analyze outputs, and submit reports to leadership.
  • Identify focus areas and strategic challenges, track progress with concerned departments, and submit periodic reports.
  • Recommend actions aligned with government directions, ensure executive plans are prepared with concerned departments and monitor their execution.
  • Follow up performance of main committees chaired by leadership with concerned departments.
  • Supervise important committees, review outputs, report performance, and recommend corrective actions on deviations.
  • Coordinate data, systems, and tools with concerned departments to enable informed decisions by the Director General (DG)/Chairman.
  • Follow up on major projects and related teams, submit performance reports, and review outputs.
  • Review and synthesize technical reports from institutions and sectors, provide technical opinions and solutions, and prepare reports per leadership directives.

Operations

  • Prepare for leadership technical meetings and visits-agendas, documents, and minutes-and participate in external boards/committees; prepare and review technical reports/memoranda for stakeholders.
  • Support and facilitate workshops on feasibility studies, ROI, cost analysis, technical specifications, alternatives analysis, and project management.
  • Design, develop, and manage internal project-management software applications and tools to improve business performance.
  • Review and audit engineering, IT, and other projects; advise on appropriate technical solutions; provide technical advice on reports from external parties and across sectors and institutions.
  • Provide expert assistance to project managers on assigned engineering projects.
  • Participate in committees related to engineering projects, including evaluation of control centers.

Process/Product Improvement

  • Train and mentor project managers (SME Development Program); support PMOs with guidance and executive materials; develop and deliver PM/enterprise PM communications capabilities as directed.

Physical Working Conditions

  • Conduct site visits to ongoing/completed projects and service facilities, collect required data and observations for official reports, track corrective actions with teams, and be available after hours for site visits, emergencies, urgent meetings, and ad-hoc tasks.

Job Qualifications & Requirements :

Education

  • Bachelor's degree/ master's degree in civil/ mechanical/electrical engineering, Project Management, Industrial Engineering

Experience

  • 9+ Years in case of master's degree (11+ years in case of bachelor's degree)
