Chief System Analyst - IT Infrastructure & Services

Responsible for analyzing data related to the planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability. Working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that technology solutions align with business needs and the IT infrastructure strategy, ensuring the infrastructure supports current operations and is capable of future growth and innovation

• KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Evaluate and analyze emerging technology data and propose improvements to enhance performance and reliability
• Analyze data, design, and optimize IT infrastructure solutions, including data centers, networks, servers, and cloud computing platforms
• Develop and analyze capacity planning, performance optimization, and disaster recovery processes
• Analyze systems data to identify the root causes of complex infrastructure issues
• Collaborate with application and operations teams to ensure efficient infrastructure support and analysis for enterprise applications
• Prepare analytical reports, technical documentation, and infrastructure architectural blueprints
• Develop and review industry-wide infrastructure standards, policies, and roadmaps
• Evaluate, analyze, and integrate on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments (such as Azure/VMware)
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security policies
• Oversee infrastructure-related projects and ensure their timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives
• Preparing budgets and cost optimization activities related to IT infrastructure
• Adherence to RTA's approved service management frameworks and global technical operations management systems, such as ITIL, for IT services management
• Communicating with suppliers and service providers to manage contracts and evaluate solutions
• Monitoring and reporting performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Performing other duties and responsibilities related to the job and as assigned
• Adherence to all policies and procedures manuals related to information security and protection at RTA
  
  

Qualifications

Technical Competencies

Cloud infrastructure design and operation (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V). Networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls). Storage systems (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions. Infrastructure automation tools (such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell). Monitoring tools (such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Azure Monitor). Disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Education

Bachelor's degree in information technology engineering, computer science, or a related field from an accredited university (master's degree preferred). Professional certifications such as: Azure Solutions Architect, VMware VCP/VCAP, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, or equivalent. 5 years in IT systems analysis
