This is a rare opportunity to pioneer an entirely new medical specialtypediatric digital addiction treatmentwhile building our first international clinic from the ground up in Dubai.

The Opportunity

As our Founding Medical Director, you will:

Launch & Lead our Dubai clinic while establishing the clinical foundation for UAE-wide and broader Middle East expansion

Pioneer evidence-based treatment protocols for digital addictiona rapidly emerging field where you'll help define best practices globally

Receive comprehensive training in cutting-edge digital addiction therapeutic techniques through Blue Light Health's specialized upskilling programs

Focus on clinical excellence while we handle patient acquisition through established partnerships with UAE schools and authorities

Build a world-class clinical program with full autonomy and robust support from our U.S. headquarters

Core Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence

• Provide direct psychiatric care for initial pilot cohort (20-40 youth patients)
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations tailored to technology-related mental health disorders
• Deliver evidence-based therapy and manage medications for children and adolescents
• Utilize our platform's real-time data insights to personalize interventions
• Apply specialized digital addiction treatment protocols (training provided)

Professional Development

• Complete Blue Light Health's comprehensive training in pediatric digital addiction treatment methodologies
• Master our proprietary clinical frameworks and tech-enabled care delivery model
• Contribute to evolving best practices as the field develops

Strategic Leadership

• Define the clinical vision and operational framework for Blue Light Health's Middle East expansion
• Collaborate directly with CEO and founding team on growth strategy
• Build and mentor clinical team as we scale
• Contribute to research initiatives and academic partnerships
• Represent Blue Light Health to schools, authorities, and regional healthcare stakeholders

Innovation & Impact

• Help shape a new medical specialty at the intersection of psychiatry, technology, and youth development
• Contribute to clinical research and publications advancing the field

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree with specialty certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
• Active medical license in UAE (or eligibility for licensure)
• Current clinical practice with pediatric populations

• Excellent English communication skills (Arabic proficiency highly valued)
