Child psychologist (DHA)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a DHA-licensed Child Psychologist based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Child Psychologist will assess, diagnose, and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in children. Responsibilities include conducting psychological testing, offering personalized therapy sessions, and working with families to develop tailored therapeutic strategies that promote holistic wellness. The role also involves collaborating with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to child mental health care.

Qualifications

• Background in Medicine and Psychology, emphasizing child psychology and development
• Proficiency in Psychological Testing and Mental Health evaluation
• Skills in Family Therapy and engagement with families to support treatment plans
• DHA licensure as a psychologist
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working with children, adolescents, or families
• Master's degree or higher in Psychology or related field
• Multilingual abilities are a plus
