Job Purpose:
To provide an exceptional customer experience by delivering knowledgeable, warm, and engaging service while promoting and selling premium chocolate products and gifts in alignment with Alain Ducasse's brand values.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a welcoming attitude and build meaningful client relationships to ensure return visits.
- Present the brand story and product attributes clearly and enthusiastically.
- Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences, events, or gifting needs.
- Handle cash, POS systems, and manage accurate transactions.
- Package products beautifully and according to brand presentation standards.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure correct product display.
- Maintain cleanliness and aesthetics of the boutique according to hygiene and brand guidelines.
- Upsell seasonal promotions and limited-edition items to meet sales targets.
- Support events, tastings, and new product launches within the retail space.
- Provide feedback from customers to support continuous improvement in service and offerings.
Qualifications:
Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in hospitality or retail is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years experience in retail sales, preferably in luxury goods, chocolate, or gourmet food.
