Job Summary
The Design Engineer Civil is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and optimizing civil and structural designs for industrial, infrastructure, or EPC projects. The role involves developing engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to support efficient project execution.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and review civil and structural design drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
- Develop designs for foundations, RCC structures, steel structures, and site development works.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable IS, ACI, BS, or international engineering standards.
- Coordinate with project, construction, and procurement teams for design alignment and execution.
- Conduct design analysis, load calculations, and feasibility assessments.
- Review shop drawings and vendor submissions for technical accuracy.
- Support site teams with technical clarifications and design modifications.
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and client discussions.
- Maintain proper documentation of design revisions, reports, and approvals.
- Ensure timely delivery of design outputs as per project schedules.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (M.Tech preferred is an advantage).
- 510 years of experience in civil design for EPC, infrastructure, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural design, foundations, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in design codes, engineering calculations, and technical documentation.
- Experience in handling multidisciplinary project designs.
