We are seeking an experienced Landscape & Swimming Pool Civil Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and quality control of landscaping and swimming pool construction projects. The role involves managing civil and hydraulic works, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and UAE authority regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Design Coordination & Technical Review
- Review architectural, structural, MEP, and landscape drawings.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, and design teams to ensure design feasibility and integration.
- Provide value engineering recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Site Supervision & Execution
- Supervise excavation, concrete works, waterproofing, steel fixing, finishing, and installation activities.
- Oversee hardscape works such as paving, retaining walls, and boundary walls.
- Manage pool construction works including plumbing systems and hydraulic components.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.
Project Planning & Coordination
- Plan daily and weekly site activities and monitor project progress.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Track manpower, material usage, and site productivity.
Quality & Safety Compliance
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and safety standards.
- Work closely with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain project safety and quality.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare site reports, technical documentation, and material submittals.
- Maintain inspection records, method statements, and site documentation.
- Assist with BOQs, cost estimates, and billing verification.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- 38 years of experience in landscape and swimming pool construction projects, preferably in the GCC.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
- Experience with UAE authority approvals is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and civil engineering tools.
- Strong knowledge of swimming pool construction and landscaping works.
- Understanding of irrigation systems and waterproofing methods.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Certifications (Advantageous)
- PMP Certification
- OSHA or NEBOSH Certification
- UAE authority registrations or engineering memberships
