Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Cairo. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing civil engineering projects related to water resource management. Daily tasks include developing stormwater management systems, performing structural analysis, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and sustainability standards. The role involves providing innovative solutions to optimize water utilization and contributing to the Ministry's vision of achieving sustainable development goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, Civil Engineering, and planning techniques
- Experience in water-related infrastructure projects, including Stormwater Management
- Proven familiarity with engineering best practices and sustainable development principles
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of national and international water resource management policies is an advantage
- Professional certifications or licensure in civil engineering (e.g., P.E.) is a plus
