We are currently hiring for a dynamic and professional Civil Engineer for our local projects where the incumbent would be responsible for implementing operation, installation, maintenance and repair of all types of civil works.
- The ideal candidate should have min. 4 years of experience in construction management with good knowledge of other disciplines such as Structural, MEP, transportation and landscape.
- The candidate should be a graduate in Civil Engineering.
- He/ she should have good knowledge of industry practices, local codes and regulations with in-depth knowledge of Qatar real estate market dynamics and regulatory environment.
Job Responsibility:
- Managing the civil works of the contractors including performance management, KPI assessment, budgeting, operating costs management etc.
- Working closely with service providers to define workable civil engineering solutions as required for maintenance/ construction/ rehabilitation.
- Conducting periodic inspections and reviewing method statements to determine if civil works are done as per contract specifications and client needs (i.e. residents, families, organization, commercial establishments, master developers)
- Reviewing and providing inputs on planned civil maintenance activities for the managed properties and providing technical advice for addressing specific civil issue.
- Implementing maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule, and supply of materials required for maintenance of assets.
- Conducting site testing of civil related issues and managing repair work done by contractors to ensure that all repair/ maintenance tasks are performed optimally.
- Reviewing plans and budgets for civil activities to validate costs/ investments.
- Supporting facility management tenders while sharing requirements and validating costs.
- Verifying and advising on PPM schedule and frequency of maintenance to balance between quality and maintenance cost.
